   Physician Credentialing Protocol

Medical Management Group of New York, Inc. maintains a panel of over 6,000 board certified physicians who have facilities located near public transportation. We have an extensive credentialing protocol and conduct inspections of the facilities to ensure that they meet or exceed our requirements.

The MMG Panel Management Department works closely with our Quality Assurance and Litigation Support Departments evaluating all panel members regarding timeliness, quality of reports, and the physician’s ability to provide credible testimony.

                            MMG Physician Panel Credentialing Protocol

Criteria for credentialing Physicians are as follows:

  • In possession of a valid license to practice medicine

  • Board Certified in appropriate specialty

  • License in good standing – without disciplinary actions, judgments pending or levied against them.

Board Certifications are verified through American Board of Medical Specialties website.

If applicable, previous lawsuits and outcomes are verified through the Professional Medical Conduct newsletter published by New York State Department of Health, which is national in scope.

All of our medical professionals are independent contractors under agreement with Medical Management Group of New York, Inc.
